Several Caledon councillors joined hosts of others recently in taking part in the Ice Bucket Challenge in support of the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Some of them had cold water dumped on them, while others just gave money. Joanna Oachis, regional manager of ALS Canada, was at Town Hall Tuesday to collect the contributions from Mayor Marolyn Morrison, as well as Councillors Doug Beffort, Richard Whitehead, Patti Foley, Richard Paterak, Nick deBoer and Rob Mezzapelli.
