The Rotary Club of Palgrave is hosting their 26th Annual Wines of the World event on July 19 from 6pm to 9pm.

The event, originally slated for June 20, had to be moved due to unforeseen circumstances.

Due to the change, the date now coincides with the Nation’s Cup of horse jumping—an internationally celebrated equestrian event taking place in Caledon for the first time.

The Nations Cup brings top competitors from around the world to Caledon.

Attendees of Wines of the World will now have the chance to experience both an evening of wine tasting and culinary delights and witness world-class show jumping on the same day.

“It’s the perfect pairing of elegance, sport, and community celebration with a worldly flair! We truly believe this new timing will enhance your experience and make this year’s event one to remember,” said Raphael Boettger, President of Rotary Club of Palgrave.

The event features over 50 wine varieties, as well as craft beer and cider.

Local chefs and food vendors will provide food pairings that highlight the flavours of the season, and live entertainment will ring through the centre.

The event will take place at Caledon Equestrian Centre.

Ticket prices are $75 before June 25, and $100 after June 15.

Group prices will be available for parties over 10.

All proceeds go toward vital community projects, youth programs, and international development efforts.

For those that have previously bought tickets are unable to make the new date, an email has been sent out regarding refunding a purchased ticket.
