What do residents want at library

June 10, 2016   ·   0 Comments

Caledon Public Library is beginning the process of envisioning what a 21st century library service should look like for Caledon.
The library is setting out a Master Plan that will specifically guide the development of facilities and services in the face of the continued growth that Caledon will experience for many years to come.
The process is being started by reaching out to members of the community about what they want in a library and how to make the library as useful and relevant as possible to the residents, students and businesses in Caledon.
“Public engagement and input is one of the most important components of the process,” according to CEO and Chief Librarian Colleen Lipp.
Caledon residents interested in participating are encouraged to take the survey that is accessible both online from the library’s website, with paper copies available at all branches. The deadline for completion of the survey is June 26. Public consultation sessions are also being planned at various locations throughout Caledon in June. Specific details and the process to register will be forthcoming soon.
