Two fatalities in Town last week

Caledon OPP had to deal with two fatal traffic incidents in Town last week.
The first one occurred last Thursday evening shortly before 7 p.m. on Regional Road 50.
Police report a Honda Fit was exiting a restaurant parking lot when it was struck by a northbound Acura MDX.
The driver of the Honda and her passenger were taken to a local hospital, then airlifted to a trauma centre.
Police report the driver, Agnes Potter, 80, of Caledon, died early Friday morning. Her female passenger was reported to be in critical condition.
The driver of the Acura received minor injuries.
The second fatality occurred early Friday morning on Airport Road, between King Street and Healey Road.
Police said they were called out shortly after 5 a.m. They report the driver of an Acura was travelling south on Airport Road when the vehicle entered the northbound lane colliding with a gravel truck. The driver of the Acura, Jennifer Meo, 37, of Mississauga was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses to either of these collisions are asked to contact police at 905-584-2241.
