The Greenbelt Plan requires the Town of Caledon to provide a map(s) showing known key natural heritage and hydrologic features, as well as any associated minimum vegetation protection zones.
These features are found within the Greenbelt Plan’s Natural System within the Protected Countryside Area.
The Town will be hosting an open house to enable the public to learn more about the identification and mapping of the Greenbelt Plan features project, review work done to date, meet the project team and bring concerns to the attention of the Town’s Project Manager.
It will be Sept. 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Caledon Community Complex in Caledon East. There will be a short presentation at 7:30 p.m.
The identification and mapping of the Greenbelt Plan features will form the basis for applying the Natural Heritage System policies contained in the Greenbelt Plan.
