If you’re a Caledon artist, your talents are wanted at an upcoming festival.

On September 28, the Town of Caledon will host its annual Caledon Creative Arts Festival for the third time. The festival, which is free to attend, will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Caledon East Community Complex.

The festival wouldn’t be able to happen without local artists and performers, and the Town is looking for applicants to be vendors, performers, and workshop leaders.

Jason Schildroth, Caledon’s Manager of Recreation and Culture, said the Town is very excited to be inviting local creatives to participate in the festival.

“Caledon is home to incredible artists and performers. This is a great opportunity for local creatives to connect with residents, fellow artists and the community as a whole. We encourage you to get involved,” said Schildroth.

In a media release, Town staff said the Caledon Creative Arts Festival will be a celebration of all things art, performance, music and creativity.

“Connect with fellow artists, showcase upcoming workshops, sell pieces — the stage is yours. Be part of an event that showcases Caledon’s vibrant and captivating arts and culture scene,” wrote staff.

Applications to be a part of the festival will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on June 14. To apply, those interested are encouraged to visit caledon.ca/culturedays.
