Sweet Taste of Spring is coming to Terra Cotta Conservation Area March 23 and 24.
The festivities will run both days from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be pancakes, local maple syrup and fun for the whole family.
Visit maple syrup stations and learn how tapping maple trees has changed from the time of First Nations to pioneer and modern times. Enjoy a warm pancake breakfast for an extra charge.
Learn about bird migration and spring baby animals. Make your own pine cone bird feeder to attract birds in your garden at home. Hear expert gardening advice and receive information about how to get ready for spring. Enjoy wagon rides, live entertainment and more.
Admission is free for conservation area members. Non-members pay $8 for adults, $5 for children four to 12 years old and seniors over 60 years. Children under four are free.
Visitors should be prepared for the weather, because the event runs rain, snow or sunshine.
