Support Wellspring Chinguacousy’s upcoming Holiday Bazaar

November 21, 2013   ·   0 Comments

The holiday season is a family time, and a traditional time of giving.
For people living with cancer, it can often be a tough time of year.
Wellspring Chinguacousy Cancer Support Centre invites the community to help “brighten” the holidays for hundreds of families touched by cancer by supporting their annual Light-Up and Holiday Bazaar.
They are also looking for people who would consider making a gift to the Light-Up Campaign. A gift can be dedicated in honour of someone who has offered assistance during a personal battle with cancer, someone who is currently living with cancer or someone who has sadly been lost.
The community is also invited to Wellspring Nov. 28 to participate in the Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by Hydro One Brampton, and to enjoy the Holiday Bazaar, which is unlike any other. Come out for a variety of treats and activities, including the famous Chili Hut, silent auction, bake sale and 50/50 draw.
People can also support the Holiday Bazaar by donating new or gently used items (with the exception of clothing, shoes and books). These donations will be gladly accept at Wellspring until Nov. 26.
Funds raised through this annual campaign help maintain the 35 professionally-led cancer support programs and services offered free of charge to members of Wellspring Chinguacousy.
For more information or to make a holiday gift today, visit www.wellspringching.ca or contact Marley Batenchuk at (905) 792-6480.
