Stunt driving charge laid

A Brampton teen is facing charges after a Caledon OPP officer clocked a vehicle going more than 100 km-h over the posted speed limit April 27.
Police report the officer was conducting radar enforcement on The Gore Road, north of Mayfield Road, and spotted the white 2015 BMW travelling at excessive speed. It was determined the car was going 165 km-h in a posted 60 zone.
The 19-year-old driver was charged with racing a motor vehicle. His licence was suspended for seven days and the car was impounded for seven days.
