Caledon OPP have charged an 18-year-old Brampton resident after a Nov. 8 incident on Highway 10 near the Grange Sideroad.
Police report an officer noticed a Ford Mustang heading south that was clocked at 195 km-h in an 80 zone. Further investigation revealed the tires on the car had been worn past the conditions required under the Highway Traffic Act.
The driver was charges with racing and having improper tires.
The car was impounded for seven days as a result of the stunt driving charge.
