The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board will hold a series of public information sessions for Grade 8 students and their parents/guardians interested in enrolling in one of their secondary schools for the 2014-15 school year.
The meeting at St. Michael Catholic Secondary School in Bolton will be Nov. 14, starting at 6:45 p.m.
Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School in Caledon East will host its meeting Nov. 28, starting at 7 p.m.
“These information sessions are intended to provide parents and guardians with an overview of the programs and services offered at Dufferin-Peel secondary schools,” commented the Board’s Principal of Secondary Program and Student Success Joanna Boudreau. “These sessions also provide Grade 8 students with an opportunity to tour the school and talk to current students about the transition into high school.”
Currently, Dufferin-Peel operates 26 secondary schools, which continue to be recognized among the top performing schools in the province each year.
For more information about the information sessions, parents/guardians should contact their local school directly. A listing of all Dufferin-Peel Catholic schools is available at www.dpcdsb.org
