The North Hill Animal Hospital in Bolton will be hosting a special event to help people in the area learn how to care for their pets as they age.
It will be Nov. 7, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the hospital at 12612 Highway 50.
The North Hill team will be putting the spotlight on senior dogs and cats, providing information about arthritis, hearing, sight, cognitive function and the benefits of proper nutrition.
Highlights will include senior cat health, presented by Dr. Dana Cini; senior dog health with Dr. David Kerr; special guest Dr. Lori Batch on the benefits of animal chiropractic work; and how to read, and understand, pet food labels. There will also be a question and answer session on senior diets, as well as prizes and light refreshments.
