It was a great morning for Canadians racing Ironman 70.3 Puerto Rico recently with a win, a second place and several top 10 finishes. Taylor Reid opened his 2017 season with the win, crushing the course in 3:49:50 with nearly two minutes on runner-up Andy Potts. Reid delivered solid splits across swim, bike and run with a 25:14 swim, 2:02:11 bike and 1:18:18 run. A Mayfield Secondary School graduate, Reid still lives and trains in Caledon and swims in the James Dick Quarry and Mayfield Pool.
