The Town of Caledon Public Works Department (Engineering Division) will be hosting a public information session of the proposal to permanently close James Street in Caledon village.
The session is scheduled for Aug. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the Community Room at Caledon Village Place, at 18313 Hurontario St.
James Street is currently closed temporarily to prohibit direct access to Highway 10. The Town is proposing a legal closure of the roadway as a permanent solution to cut-through traffic from Highway 10 to Charleston Sideroad. The public is welcome to learn more about this proposal.
