Officers from the Caledon and Dufferin OPP Street Crime Units (SCU) executed a warrant at homes in Caledon and Orangeville Aug. 17, with assistance from the OPP Regional Support Team (RST) members.
The warrant was issued following an investigation involving the Caledon detachment.
While executing the warrant, officers located a large quantity of stolen tools, machinery and yard maintenance equipment. The estimated value of the stolen property is between $40,000 and $60,000.
A suspect has been identified and charges are pending.
Police are reminding residents to be vigilant and to report suspicious activity to them directly or to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
