Pommies Cider Co. of Bolton is heading into their fifth annual apple tree giveaway.
This spring, Pommies will hit eight LCBO locations, offering samples of both Pommies and Farmhouse ciders, and giving away apple trees along the way.
When customers buy 12 bottles or cans of Pommies or Pommies Farmhouse Cider, they will take home their very own gala apple tree to plant in their garden. Customers can then reap the harvests for years to come.
The initiative highlights the fact that Pommies and Farmhouse are local, natural products made with 100 per cent Ontario apples, not from concentrate. To date, Pommies has put more than 200 trees back in Ontario’s soil.
Locally, the Tree giveaways will be taking place April 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the LCBO outlet in Orangeville (40 Broadway), May 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the LCBO in Newmarket at 180 Green Ln. East, and May 12 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the LCBO in Nobleton at 13255 Highway 27.
