There was a large crowd out recently to take part in the Second annual Pit Run, hosted by Lafarge Canada Inc. and Aecon Construction Ltd. at their pit near Caledon village. The event offered the participants the chance to get a close look at an active aggregate pit, as well as take in a company open house. Funds raised from registration fees for the run were donated to Bethell Hospice in Inglewood.
