September 10, 2014   ·   0 Comments

Moms in Peel Region have more opportunities for accessing breastfeeding help.
Peel Public Health now offers drop-in breastfeeding services five days a week at two clinic sites. Drop-in clinics were previously offered one day a week at both sites.
The drop-in clinics are available free of charge for Peel residents at Brampton Breastfeeding Clinic (Bramalea Civic Centre, 150 Central Park Dr.) and Meadowvale Breastfeeding Clinic (6975 Meadowvale Town Centre Cir., Unit 3) Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1 to 3:30 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Mothers and babies can see public health nurses at the clinics for breastfeeding help by either drop-in or by booking an appointment. Appointments can be made by calling the Region at 905-799-7700.
