Peel Arts Collective launches new website

December 20, 2017   ·   0 Comments

Peel Arts Collective, an artist’s collective based in Peel, has launched a new website titled “the905.”
This website will focus on arts and culture in the region.
Peel Arts Collective was launched in September 2016, creating a network of dozens of artists from Caledon, Brampton and Mississauga. It is an artist-run collective that is open to artists of every medium who live and work in the region and are looking for opportunities to promote culture where they can share their art.
The launch of “the905” already hosts more than 80 creations by artists living and working in Peel.
“As artists, we found a huge gap in the opportunities to share our work with the community,” Collective co-founder and Director of Organization Amber Victoria Lee said. “Peel Arts Collective supports artists of any type, in any craft, of any age and we feel with the launch of ‘the905’ website, artists will be able to take advantage of free opportunities without selling themselves out.”
To submit work artists would like showcased on “the905,” they can simply fill out the automated form located at http://905submit.peelartscollective.com, upload their file, and submit it to Peel Arts Collective (while maintaining all rights to their work).
The new website can be seen at www.peelartscollective.com
