Peace Ranch has been known as “a place of possibilities” for 25 years, and Sunday was a time to recognize the milestone.
The facility on Centreville Creek Road in Albion hosted its annual open house. There were a number of fun things to see and do, but it was also a time to celebrate what has been accomplished over the last 25 years.
Eric Tripp-McKay, executive director of the facility, expressed his appreciation for the work of staff and the community for helping individuals on their journey toward wellness.
“I know we’ve had a good impact on a number of lives,” he said.
Councillor Nick deBoer was on hand with greetings from the Town, as well as congratulations on 25 years of providing mental health care. He also pointed to the need to help people understand the work being done there.
“I wish you another 25, and another,” he said. “I think it’s great that you’re here.”
“It’s been a great ride,’ commented James Richard, who’s made use of the programs there. “I hope we have a long ride from here.”
