A 34-year-old Caledon man is facing more charges after a home was broken into March 31.
During the course of their investigation, Caledon OPP received multiple tips from the public as to the identity of the suspects, thanks to a You Tube video posted online of the surveillance footage from the incident. As a result, police were able to arrest and charge the males caught on camera.
As a result of search warrants executed by Caledon OPP’s Street Crime Unit, the one accused has additionally been charged with possession of a prohibited device or ammunition, careless storage of a firearm, having a prohibited device or ammunition, unauthorized possession of a firearm, 10 counts of possession of credit card data, nine counts of possession of a credit card, five counts of identity documents, three counts of possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order and two counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm.
