New homes are being built in Bolton.

On July 23, Caledon Mayor Annette Groves and Regional Councillor Mario Russo attended the grand opening of a Treasure Hill model home in east Bolton.

Treasure Hill is building 84 single-detached homes off Queensgate Boulevard between Ernest Biason Boulevard and Autumn Oak Court.

Natascha Pieper, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Treasure Hill, explained the homes will be custom-built to buyers’ design preferences.

“We take a lot of pride in our offerings, materials and finishes,” said Pieper. “You can pick a curated package… you can very much customize your home.”

Jason Bottoni, Vice President of Land Development for Treasure Hill, said it was important for the company to plan for homes that will integrate with the existing community surrounding it, which is a community of single-detached homes.

The new development is called Meadowlark and has been in the works since 2021.

Pieper said over 2,000 people registered to receive information about the community.

“Our sales centre has been extremely busy, so we’re happy to welcome a lot of new families to Bolton,” said Pieper. “This is something unique and special.”

Groves said Treasure Hill has been a great partner and worked with the Town of Caledon and residents as they planned their new development. She said the developer has a “here to stay” attitude and has a great history of sponsorship in Caledon.
