Caledon OPP reports charging a 53-year-old man from Rosemont after spotting a black 2013 Ford Explorer that appeared to be going excessively fast July 14.
Police said the incident occurred at about 6:25 a.m. as an officer was conducting radar enforcement on Horseshoe Hill Road. The officer spotted the vehicle and with the use of the radar unit, determining it was going 115 km-h in a posted 60 zone.
The man was charged with racing a motor vehicle. His licence was suspended for seven days on the spot, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
