A 28-year-old man from Brampton was charged with failing to provide a breath sample after an Aug. 10 incident.
Caledon OPP reports a concerned citizen contacted them at about 11 p.m. about a possible impaired driver heading south on Highway 10, near King Street. Officers were able to find a white Infinity heading south on Highway 410 at Mayfield Road.
The officer who approached the driver detected a strong smell of alcohol on his breath, so he demanded a sample of his breath. The driver refused and he was charged.
His licence was suspended on the spot and his car was impounded for seven days.
