Lake Road caught the attention of a Caledon OPP officer who was behind it Oct. 31.
The result was charges being laid against a 56-year-old man from Caledon.
Police report the incident happened shortly before 9:30 p.m. The officer was travelling behind the white pick-up when he saw the vehicle drift to the right of the lane and hit the gravel. In doing so, the officer observed as the driver over-corrected his action by crossing the entire northbound lane.
The truck was pulled over, and the officer immediately detected that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
He was charged with impaired driving and driving with more than the legal limit of alcohol in his system. His licence was suspended on the spot and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
