Inglewood Schoolhouse Performers looking for performers and helpers

November 6, 2013   ·   0 Comments

Looking for an opportunity to stand in the limelight?
The Inglewood Schoolhouse Performers are looking for talented people for its upcoming production of The Ghost of the Grange at the end of March. Men, as well as younger (teenagers and up) cast members are particularly needed.
Previous acting experience is not required. Energy and enthusiasm is more important, as is a willingness to commit to an intensive rehearsal and four-evening performance schedule.
The reward for the hard work is a fun learning experience, the challenges of choosing costumes, camaraderie with the other actors, plus a sense of achievement and the thrill of opening night, followed by the applause of the audience. And then, when the play is over, realizing how much you miss it and vowing to take part in next year’s production.
Founded in the early 1980s, the Inglewood Schoolhouse Performers has been entertaining and delighting audiences for three decades with its roster of comedies, pantomimes and the odd murder mystery.
To be presented March 28, 29, and then again April 4, and 5, The Ghost of the Grange is a comic whodunit, whose main characters have been dead for 100 years.
Also needed are volunteers for a number of back-stage duties, such as building and painting sets, taking admission and staffing a snack bar.
