The Palgrave United Community Kitchen has been helping to provide fresh and healthy lunches to students at Palgrave and Macville Public Schools, and organizers took time Friday to express appreciation for the help they’ve been receiving. Macville Principal Kelly Kawabe was joined by Superintendent Michael Logue and Trustee Stan Cameron in thanking Kurt and Donni Geiser, proprietors of Caledon East Foodland, and Customer Service Manager Brenda Brook. Those serving the lunch were Laurie Rocchi, Alissa Saunders, Mary McRuvie, Brianna Tonner-Smith and Meredith Taylor.
