Free flights for females at BFC

March 1, 2018   ·   0 Comments

It is widely recognized that women only represent about six per cent of the total pilot population.
For this reason, Brampton Flight Centre (BFC) is joining other aviation organizations around the world to participate in the Women in Aviation Worldwide Week — Fly it Forward Challenge.
It will be March 11, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m., and the aim is to encourage women to consider aviation as a career or for recreation.
Activities will include free flights, simulator rides and ground school for girls and women who have never flown in a small aircraft before.
The activities will include a 20-minute flight over the Caledon hills, a 30-minute introductory ground school, covering the highlights of a career in aviation and the steps to get there, and light refreshments.
Register online at www.bramptonflightcentre.com/event/free-flights-females/
The number of flights will be limited, so it will be on a first-come first-served basis. For more information email WomenTakeFlight@bramfly.com
