Forgiveness will be discussed at Lifetree Cafe

November 14, 2013   ·   0 Comments

The story of Louis Barrios, who publicly forgave his mother’s murderer, will be explored at the next session of Lifetree Cafe this coming Wednesday (Nov. 20).
The session will run from 7 until 8 p.m. at St. James’ Anglican Church in Caledon East.
Entitled Forgiving the Unforgivable, the presentation will include an exclusive filmed interview with Barrios. His mother, Viola Barrios, was killed in her home in San Antonio, Texas. She was a well-known restaurateur, often featured on nationally televised cooking shows. Her violent murder shocked the community.
“But her son’s response was even more surprising,” said Lifetree’s Craig Cable.
The Lifetree experience will also offer help for anyone dealing with forgiveness issues.
Admission is free, and snacks and beverages will be available.
The church is at 6025 Old Church Rd.
