Flags lowered in memory of officer

The Town of Caledon will fly the flags at all Town facilities at half-mast in a salute to Toronto Police Constable John Zivcic, who died Monday from injuries received in a weekend traffic mishap in Toronto.
The crash occurred as Constable Zivcic, 34, was responding to an emergency call about an impaired driver.
The Town of Caledon extends sincere condolences to Constable Zivcic’s family, friends and fellow police officers for this tragic loss.
The flags will remain lowered until sunset on the day of the funeral.
