Bolton Chiropractic Centre tightened their grip on first place in the Caledon Senior Hockey League Nov. 16 with a 6-3 win over Fines Ford Lincoln.
In the other games at Don Sheardown Memorial Arena, Rutherford Global Logistics downed Yale Industrial Trucks 6-2 to advance from fourth place to a tie for second with Fines Ford. Heart Lake Insurance greased Jiffy Lube Oilers by a 7-2 margin.
Bolton Chiropractic 6, Fines Ford 3
Jim Horan and Dr. Bend himself, team sponsor Mike Shore, powered the Bonebender offence.
Horan had two goals and an assist while Shore snapped in two markers. Jim Moyer chipped in a goal and an assist with Bob McHardy scoring the other goal. Mike Gasparini helped set up two goals with single assists going to Gary Moss, Bill Moyer, George Armstrong and Kyle Smith.
Team rep Jim Dunbar led Fines Ford with a goal and two assists. The other goals came from Peter Kuchar and Paul Speck. Goaltender Vanni DiMarco led the single assists parade, with others coming from James Hardman, Mike Foley and John Crossley.
Rutherford 6, Yale 2
Steve Tarasco, Maurizo Giorgio and Jim Pitre led the scoring as Rutherford broke a three-game losing streak.
Tarasco had a goal and two assists with Giorgio scoring twice. Pitre had three helpers. Rick Geiger and Gary Hughes had a goal and an assist each. Bret Smith set up two goals while single assists went to Howard Wight and Joe Palumbo.
Dom Orazio and James Heenan scored for Yale. The assists came from Ron Sampson, Dom Ierullo and Stefan Pacula.
Heart Lake 7, Jiffy Lube 2
Victor Marrelli had the hot stick for Heart Lake with three goals and two assists.
Jack Gibson and team rep Ian Kerr had a goal and two assists each. Greg Frangakas and Santo Gazzolla scored the other goals. Joe Maiolino chipped in an assist.
Rick Agar scored both Jiffy Lube goals while defenceman Carlo Fantin made his CSHL debut in fine style with assists on both of them. Dom Spignasi and Mike Lo Dico each had an assist.
