A group of area artists have a great idea for getting into the spirit of the season.
They are inviting the public to check out that country studios of Silver Creek Arts, at 16849 Kennedy Rd, north of the Olde Base Line Road in Caledon.
The event is being run by artists Diana Hillman, Rosemary Molesworth, Susan Powell, Gail Prussky and Alan Smith, with guests Merle Harstone and Lucille Weber.
Enjoy a sip of cider and a cozy fire in a setting that’s perfect for contemplating interesting little gift suggestions for everyone on one’s list. There will be pottery, water colour and oil paintings, drawings, collectible bric-a-brac that will light up someone’s world Christmas Day, and remain with them forever.
The Open Studio starts this Saturday (Nov. 30) and goes Sunday, as well as next weekend (Dec. 7 and 8) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
