Charged with stunt driving

Caledon OPP have charged a 33-year-old Brampton resident with racing a motor vehicle after an Aug. 24 incident on Highway 10.
Police report an officer was on speed enforcement in the area of Heather Street (north of Beech Grove Sideroad) and spotted a Toyota heading north. The vehicle was clocked at 144 km-h in a posted 80 zone.
The driver was charged and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
