After several years on the Humberview Secondary School rugby team, Bolton’s Johnny Sheridan has taken a step up and is now a member of the U19 Ontario Rugby team.
Sheridan has been going to the training sessions since the start of May, and was finally given the nod in the final cuts July 11.
The U19 team travelled to Calgary to take part in the third annual Canadian Rugby Championships, competing against four other teams from across the country.
Sheridan was the team captain and MVP for four years at Humberview and has played with the Brampton Beavers and the Markham Irish U18 team.
