WORLD AUTISM DAY MARKED

WORLD AUTISM DAY MARKED Yesterday (Wednesday) was World Autism Awareness Day, and Caledon council passed a motion Tuesday proclaiming the day. The motion they passed noted Autism Spectrum Disorder affects more than 100,000 in Ontario, impacting one in every 94 children, along with their family, friends and community. Mayor Marolyn Morrison also raised a flag promoting the day outside Town Hall, accompanied by Councillors Nick deBoer, Patti Foley, Doug Beffort, Rob Mezzapelli, Richard Paterak, Allan Thompson and Gord McClure.
