A 62-year-old Caledon woman is facing charges after a traffic collision in the area of Valleywood Boulevard and Royal Valley Drive July 5.
Caledon OPP reports they were called out to investigate a fail to remain incident.
Following the collision, the suspect vehicle continued to a nearby address. Officers went to the address and observed the suspect vehicle, a red Toyota Corolla, in the driveway.
Upon investigation, it was determined that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol. The woman was arrested and charged impaired driving, driving with more than the legal limit of alcohol in her system and failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
Her licence was suspended for 90 days and the car was impounded for seven.
