Woman arrested for impaired driving

A 55-year-old woman from Caledon is facing charges after a concerned citizen reported a possible impaired driver to Caledon OPP March 17.
Police said they got the report shortly after 9:30 p.m., and it was regarding a vehicle heading south on Highway 10 in the Valleywood area.
Officers arrived in the area and found the vehicle parked inside the lit garage. Officers approached the front door and were met by a female who displayed signs of impairment. The confirmed that she had just returned home and had consumed alcohol before driving. She further reported that she had not consumed any alcohol after arriving home.
The woman was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and driving with more than the legal limit of alcohol in her system.
