Police are looking for help in finding a motorcyclist who was involved in an accident in Tullamore July 6.
Caledon OPP reports the incident took place at about 8:45 p.m. on Airport Road, north of Perdue Court, involving a 2000 blue Yamaha motorcycle and a grey Toyota.
Police said the preliminary investigation suggests the motorcycle was heading south at a high speed when the driver did a wheelie. He apparently lost control and the bike landed on the roof of the southbound Toyota.
The driver of the Toyota suffered a minor injury and did not require medical attention. The motorcycle was totalled, and the driver had left the scene on foot by the time police arrived.
They immediately set up containment in the area and searched for the driver, but were unsuccessful.
Police are asking anyone with information in relation to this collision to contact them at 905-584-2241 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
