TOWN WISHED FLAXEY ‘GOOD CURLING’ Mayor Marolyn Morrison and Councillor Allan Thompson were signing the Caledon flag Tuesday, conveying good wishes to local resident Caleb Flaxey, a member of Canada’s curling team at the Sochi Olympics. “It is such an honour to recognize such high achievement in sport,” Morrison said. “I know all of our residents will join council and staff to support Caleb and to celebrate his commitment to his sport. We wish him an exciting, safe and memorable journey.” The public is encouraged to drop by and sign notes of encouragement to Flaxey. The Town flag will be available for signing until tomorrow (Friday) at Town Hall at 6311 Old Church Rd. in Caledon East.  Photo by Bill Rea
