Thompson not stepping aside

Mayor Allan Thompson says he plans to move forward with the Town’s interests.
This is in light of calls for him “step aside” from the group calling itself Your Voice for Bolton.
Thompson has been facing conflict of interest allegations. Arguments were made late in April to a judge of the Superior Court of Justice, but no ruling has been made yet.
“We demand the Mayor step aside — and we expect him to not interfere any further with the very planning process his conflict of interest case is tied to,” declared Kim Seipt of Your Voice for Bolton.
Thompson has maintained he was not in conflict.
“I’m looking forward to hearing what the judge’s opinion and ruling is,” he said.
