Teen charged with stunt driving

A Caledon youth is facing stunt driving charges after Caledon OPP stopped a speeding pick-up truck on Mount Hope Road, south of Columbia Way in Bolton Nov. 18.
Police report an officer was conducting speed enforcement shortly after 8 a.m. and spotted the southbound Toyota Tundra. It was determined the vehicle was going 142 km-h in a posted 60 zone.
The 17-year-old driver was charged with racing a motor vehicle. The pick-up was impounded for seven days.
