Sunset of another school year

In keeping with tradition, Belfountain Public School held its annual Sunset Barbecue recenlty to close out the school year. There were some of the usual competitions, including a couple of tugs of wars. This gang is seen here, giving it their all.
Grant Linney from Dundas (formerly from Bolton), a retired outdoor environmental education teacher, was on hand with this big globe, six feet in diameter, trying to get people to think about the planet they live on. He also had this smaller version, showing the political layout of the earth.

Nature educator Steve Patterson provided entertainment to those on hand for the event.
Scribbles the Clown was creating balloon toys for young folks, like Freya Kurz, who was visiting her cousins from Ottawa.
