Mayfield Secondary School
Bailey Molella
The 16-year-old is playing shortstop for the school’s varsity baseball team. The squad won its first two games and he went three for five at the plate. Outside of school, he plays centre in AAA hockey in the Brampton 45s’ organization. The Grade 10 student lives in Cheltenham with his parents Mike and Kim Molella.
Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School
Hailey Corvari
This Grade 9 student has been contributing her skills to the varsity girls’ soccer team as a striker and left wing, recently adding two goals in a game. Away from school, she has played in the South Simcoe United and Bolton Wanderers organizations, and is currently being scouted by other clubs. The 14-year-old lives in Shelburne with her father Shawn Corvari.
St. Michael Catholic Secondary School
Ginny McAllister
This 15-year-old has been showing her prowess as a member of the varsity coed ultimate Frisbee squad, which has been winning most of its games so far. She was also a shooting guard on the varsity girls’ basketball team, which was successful at ROPSSAA, and was a member of the swim team, placing third at ROPSSAA in the 50-metre fly. In the community, she’s active in triathlon and hopes to compete in the Ontario Summer Games this year in Windsor. The Grade 10 student lives in Bolton with her parents Lynn Howard and Emlyn McAllister.
Humberview Secondary School
Kyle Graham
This Grade 11 student has been playing handler on the school’s varsity ultimate Frisbee team, which won three of its first four games. He also played left wing on the school’s varsity hockey team and was a power in senior boys’ volleyball. Away from school, he’s been a rep player in the Caledon Hawks organization, and plays volleyball with the Peel Selects. The 16-year-old lives in Palgrave with his parents Murray and Shelley Graham.
