Stunt driving charge laid

A 31-year-old woman from Glencairn is facing charges after Caledon OPP nabbed a speeder on Horseshoe Hill Road March 29.
Police report an officer was conducting speed enforcement at about 5:15 p.m. and spotted a northbound Volkswagen clocked at 116 km-h in a posted 60 zone.
The driver was charged with racing a motor vehicle. The car was impounded for seven days.
