Small Business Summit will be in Caledon Oct. 20

June 10, 2016   ·   0 Comments

Join entrepreneurs, small business owners and leaders from the fastest growing Greater Toronto Area (GTA) rim communities for the inaugural Small Business Summit (SBS).
Participants will be able to connect with the community; converse with top industry leaders, cultivate relationships and grow their businesses.
This signature business development trade show will take place at the Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness Oct. 20, during National Small Business Month.
Local small business drives the economy, employs residents and encourages commerce. Playing an integral role in supporting successful small business, the Summit has partnered with the Town of Caledon, Metroland Media, We Are Creative and Music 21 Staging to create a new and innovative trade show and speaker summit series that those interested in driving their businesses to new heights simply must attend.
SBS will feature 16 Canadian and U.S. industry leaders and builders hosting hourly seminars throughout the day on a variety of timely and relevant business topics. The trade-show floor will offer local businesses the opportunity to showcase their products and services, network with leading professionals and engage in meaningful conversations, and forge new business partnerships.
“Think Global, Source Local” is the theme of SBS. Learn how to take a business to the next level, while exploring social media strategies, E-business challenges, investment and income sourcing opportunities, the impact of branding, managing human resources and more. Learn from global business innovators, then source from amazing local talent.
The Summit will host participants and visitors from around the GTA “rim communities,” including Caledon, Peel, Dufferin, Orangeville, Halton Hills, New Tecumseth, Vaughan and York Region.
Hands-on social media training, at no additional cost to participants, will also be conducted throughout the day.
SBS opens with a Business Awards Recognition evening taking place Oct. 19 and closes Oct. 20 with an opportunity for networking at a cocktail event for exhibitors, speakers and visitors.
The event promises to be a game-changing experience. Enjoy great conversation, engage in commerce, develop connections and support local community business owners.
