William Osler Health System (Osler) supporters will head for the hills at Caledon Ski Club Feb. 27 in support of Osler’s three hospitals.
With fabulous weather and record revenue in 2013, Osler Foundation and presenting sponsor Metrus Development Inc. promise to make it another great day for families by providing breakfast, lunch, plus an après-ski reception, and even lessons for those who book early as part of an all-inclusive ticket.
Event Co-Chairs Jim Kennedy of KLM Planning Partners and Steven Wimmer of MBTW Watchorn believe that the event has become a perfect winter’s day escape that loyal participants continue to appreciate. This year, skiers and snowboarders can also collect online pledges for their outdoor accomplishments.
“For six consecutive years, Osler Ski Day has been offering individuals and families a terrific opportunity to hit the slopes in support of their community hospital,” said Kennedy. “The $100 ticket offers exceptional value as well as the chance to help further redevelopment projects at Osler’s Brampton Civic, Etobicoke General and the new Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness.”
There are three easy ways to support Osler Ski Day — through sponsorships, pledging or participating in the event. Sponsorship opportunities are still available to corporate and community groups who want to join 2014 Ski Day sponsors, including Metrus Development Inc., Sterling Dental, Lormel Homes, KLM Planning Partners Inc., MBTW Watchorn, Schaeffer and Associates, Emery Investments, David Schaeffer Engineering Ltd., Savanta Inc. and SNAP newspapers.
Ski Day participants are also encouraged raise pledges on their own. Each participant who raises $250 or more in support of Osler’s three hospitals will receive an exclusive Ski Day hooded sweatshirt.
