Seeking volunteers for events at Alton Mill

Alton Mill Arts Centre is looking for enthusiastic, winter-loving volunteers to assist during the annual Fire & Ice Festival, Jan. 23 and 24, and the Alton Millpond Hockey Classic, Jan. 23.
Helpers are needed to set up and tear down, assist with parking, greet people at the entrance, serving as ice rink monitors, addressing waste management, plus many other tasks, both indoors and out.
“Tell us when you’re available, and we’ll slot you into the schedule,” said Mill co-owner Jeremy Grant. “Your help throughout the weekend will keep the festival events running smoothly.”
