Schomberg Street Gallery runs Sept. 21, 22

There is a buzz in the air, and it’s not only the bees that are busy.
village is a hive of activity in preparation for the fifth annual Street Gallery.
The highly anticipated Arts Society King event takes place the weekend of Sept. 21 and 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Come and join in the showcase, meander along historic Main Street, soak up the ambience and view original works of art from local and regional artists with a range of media that includes oil, acrylic, watercolour, photography, jewellery and rug hooking.
Select a gift for someone special, or indulge in the perfect piece for the home.
If you want to travel the old-fashioned way, hop onto the horse-drawn wagon for a ride along Main Street — available Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
When hunger strikes, head over to one of the fine eating establishments, or seek out the delicious aroma coming from the Community Hall. The Schomberg Lions will be serving lunch featuring traditional barbecued fare.
