Our club is having our annual Christmas party.
We enjoy watching our children and grandchildren eating a delicious Christmas dinner and opening their presents. We reflect on those children locally and internationally that our club has helped this past year.
We are a part of Rotary International that has saved millions of young children’s lives as they continue their fight to eradicate polio.
We are supporting Healing Little Hearts, which sends specialist medical teams to western India to perform lifesaving heart operations on small children and babies.
In our community, we have provided financial support to the Caledon Parent-Child Centre, provided bursaries to high school students, given dictionaries to Grade 3 students, and funded the Robotics program at Humberview Secondary School in conjunction with the Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation.
Rotarians volunteer at Camp Enterprise and Camp Oochigeas in Muskoka which is a summer camp for children with cancer.
Christmas is the season for, among other things, giving to others. The Rotary Club of Palgrave gives to children and others throughout the year.
Merry Christmas to all and we thank those organizations that have supported our club throughout the year.
