Women who are ready to add a healthy new dimension to their lives might want to try singing.
The Orangeville Chorus, Sweet Adelines International is an award-winning group of women singers who meet regularly to practise, socialize, perform and sing a cappella harmony, barbershop style. They perform annually in Regional competition and at many community events.
They are inviting women to experience an evening with the chorus, joining them for fun, music and friendship.
Vocalizing promotes well-being, gives the lungs a workout, tones up the abdomen and diaphragm, stimulates circulation, improves aerobic capacity and releases muscle tension. Sharing the joy of singing will enrich your life far beyond the notes and music.
Upcoming guest nights are Sept. 14, 21, 28 and Oct. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Horizons Event Centre, on Highway 10 north, behind Mono Plaza.
